Compared with the finished NdFeB magnet process and sintering process, the price of the bonded NdFeB magnet is higher, mainly because it is integrally formed, one operation is completed, and no other cutting operations are required. It is made by adding NdFeB powder It is mixed with some other materials to make permanent magnets by compression, extrusion or injection molding techniques.

Injection molding NdFeB magnet technology is the most demanding of all processes. The price of NdFeB produced by this technology is the highest. It requires extremely fine and precise molds, and NdFeB powder is placed inside to make finished products with complex shapes. The finished product is mostly very thin.

The surface of sintered NdFeB permanent magnets is generally required to be smooth and reach a certain precision, and the surface of the magnet delivered as a blank needs to be surface ground.

The commonly used grinding methods for square NdFeB permanent magnet alloys are:

Flat grinding, two-end surface grinding, internal grinding, external grinding, etc.

Cylindrical magnets often use coreless grinding and double-ended flat grinding.

Multi-station grinding machines are used for tile-shaped magnets, fan-shaped magnets, and heterosexual magnets.
